Christmas Party Outfit Ideas

With Christmas just around the corner, you’re liable to be getting ready to don a classy outfit and celebrate the season with your friends and family. Here are some ideas to make your Christmas outfit merry and bright.

Add a Touch of Sparkle

Many of us tend to go for the monochromatic look, as in black heels, black handbag and black outfit. Instead, spice up your look with something a little more fun like a sparkly bag or shoes that are anything but the color black or beige. This will add a tinge of sparkle and help balance out your outfit.

Go Classy

Wear whatever makes you feel comfortable, but if you’re hanging with your family members, you might not want to wear something where your boobs are popping out. Instead, look for something a little more conservative when you’re with the family, and go for the sexier look when you’re out with your friends.

Wear Red

Some women shy away from red, but it is most definitely the color of the season. Don’t just accessorize with red lipstick, instead wear a red dress or a red skirt or blouse to show off your assets at your Christmas party. This will help you not only stand out in a crowd but will also make you feel extra festive.

Go Bold

This may be the one time of year wearing sparkles and sequins is actually socially acceptable (unless you’re at a 1980s costume party), so take advantage of it and purchase items you might not normally put on. This could include a slinky Christmas dress made of silver sparkles, or gold sequinned pants for your New Year’s Eve bash. This time of year is also perfect for breaking out the statement earrings and other pieces of jewelery you might think are too gaudy during other times of the year.
