Gemini – Bitcoin Exchange Review

The Winklevoss twins are most famous for Mark Zuckerberg stealing their idea in college to create Facebook. I have worked in the fintech industry and I have a lot of respect for the twins given their latest venture, Gemini.

As you know I am a Bitcoin fan. Being a fan for me goes deeper than just knowing what Bitcoin is and how it works. I buy and sell bitcoin, often on exchanges.

The most recent addition to the Bitcoin exchange ecosystem is Gemini and it’s beautiful.

I signed up for an account and it was smoother than most other exchanges EVEN with 10x more verification being required.

These were the steps after verifying my email address.

Step 1 – Verify your identity. If you choose “I’ll do this later,” you actually can.

step1

Step 2 – Link banking information

step2

Step 3 – Brings your to the dashboard prompting you to verify your identity via your profile information.

Dash Main

The buying Bitcoin dashboard data is very well laid out and easy to analyze.

Buy Bitcoin Dash

The sell Bitcoin dashboard is identical which is simple and straightforward.

Sell Bitcoin Dash

In summary, Gemini is beautiful and I highly recommend signing up for an account.

The goal is to not necessarily help investors understand what Bitcoin is but to get them started through simplicity. It is very apparent that through the Winklevoss’ simplistic design anyone who has traded stocks before could jump on and get the hang of it quickly.

Well done guys and welcome to the industry.
